Celebrating Einstein's Relativity with Colliding Black Holes

Nature magazine highlights the Kavli Special Plenary Talk by Prof. Stuart Shapiro at the April APS meeting, celebrating the centennial anniversary of Einstein's theory of general relativity. Shapiro's team simulated the collision of two supermassive black holes to accurately predict the radiation that could be detected in such a merger.
